I dont think they take a sample from the tank anymore. A mate of mine got checked and they took a sample direct from the pump

Depends, seen on the news the other weak they can actually take samples from your exhaust now using a we breathliser style machine, and tell if your running on red cause of the dye they are gonna be addid an element to the fuel which will only appear when heated in an engine.

Fool proof, who knows. Be a while before that catches on.
