jus spoke to alex and he said the evo launched off the lights...alex was behind him and the evo wasnt pulling away...so he didnt get smoked at all marky...amos has raced the car with alex's dad driving it before and even amos will tell you the m3 is faster...

Skiman as mark says one of the dyno sheets should be on here somewhere.It will show 402 atw which with 24% trans loss at 6k equates to 528.it also produced 480lbft.This was howver before i had the air temp probs sorted and was running 1.8 bar.Its maped for 2.3 bar but i dont like running it as ill probably break the rear diff and would like to sort that first.Then i suppose ill have to see what it puts out at 2.3.
If ya really want you can try asking on LSM as i had a couple of them out for a run in it.One of them gave me photoshop and i owed him one

anyone know the one that was in bangor on sunday? myself and a couple of mates were in the cupra and up came this evo, was a dark colour and couldnt tell exactly what, we thought it would be fun to see how fast they were in the wet so when the lights changed off we went, then the evo a sec or two later (was giving me a head start!! haha), got my answer...bloody quick!
id like to know if it was standard or tweaked.

well u will find when ppl race its the car in front that usually claims 1st place&the m3 didnt pass the evo!!!so we all know what that means (the evo won)&yes he raced his dad b4 but evo went on the speed limiter at155mph in 5 &still had 6th 2 go >>> not bad for a car that cost 34k >>>how much is an m3???50k???

also...i think you will find that a race where a car is infront of another one is not really fair...

also...alex's dad past him at 120mph...not 155...stop making excuses mark...its slower...end of story...just accept it...stop sayin its gonna be quicker very soon etc.....its slower as they sit now...

Skiman the ecu was done by Mark as you say but as he will tell you i did the rest myself.Give him a bell and he will be able confirm the way the thing goes.Mark is a top guy and i wouldnt trust my car with anyone else even though it means going to Maidenhead each time i change something and need the ecu tweaked to match. This guy is Mapper of all Mappers and hes got nerves of steel.We where mapping at 160mph at one point in a thunder storm and he just casually sits there and plays with his laptop
