This car never ceases to amaze me i’ve had it out in snow and heavy frost the last few days and it’s been absolutely fine, no spinning it’s tyres and not even so much as a flick of the traction control light and that’s with cup 2 tyres. Even in these temps once you get a bit of temp and pressure in the tyres it’s fine and very predictable which I didn’t think would be the case.

Very frozen today, ended in Galgorm where the car park was totally frozen and very glad we took the gfs quattro TT and not mine love the look of the rear lights when they’re frosted over

Still can’t get over how good this car is. Drove a couple of different cars the last few weeks and really makes me appreciate how amazing this is. The steering in particular is on another planet to anything i’ve ever driven before, so precise and perfectly weighted and the change of direction is sensational.

Had a service on Monday including spark plug change and both myself and gf think it’s got even louder since They told me it had an aftermarket air filter so I got them to change it for a Merc one so not sure if that’s why. Can’t confirm yet but it may also have been remapped given it seems to be making a reasonable amount more power over what Merc quote even accounting for the fact they always underestimate.

@ChrisL nope wasn’t me, did about 130 miles yesterday but Jordanstown wasn’t one of the places.

@therock ive been here for a bit over 2.5 years now and pool has been opened for it all bar being closed for covid
