Update time! After getting quotes from a few wheel refurbishing companies and one not wanting to touch the wheels unless I split them, I done just that. Actually enjoyed the process too. Sledge was involved but only needed one solid knock and they pop right out, very satisfying! Thinking ill get the centres painted and polish the barrels myself because diamond cut is a disaster. Also have half a notion to turn down the back face of the centres for a little more dish on show. I have 16mm of material from the mating face to the bolt seat, is that sensible or leave them as is? They don't look thick in the pic below because they curve away but they're a very heavy centre!
Finally got all the bits I was waiting on to rebuild the rear suspension too so took into it yesterday. Went suspiciously well bar shearing a brake fitting. Epytec adapters wont be here until mid feb so she's off the lift so and out of the way again. Very satisfying to see it all built up again. Hope the polybushes arent too hard, they were the softer version that Strongflex offer.
New stuff is class only replaced the bolts and bits I had to and it still worked into a small fortune. Better be able to feel the difference anyway
And some pics from Titanic dubs! Excited to see the change in the car and getting out to chat to folk again soon!
