woops, my mistake. i did hear of 1.6's though, must be the WTCC?

Yeah,the WTCC have the 1.6 turbo engine as part of their "world engine" regulations this year,tho' teams have been given a years grace to make the move.

Plato is FURIOUS after getting bumped off by Boardman!

Yeah, think hes more annoyed at the speed everyone else had compared to him.

Boardman should be penalised though, his restart from the safety car was a joke and deliberately taking plato out aswell

dont think he deliberatley took Plato out, but definately is a racing incident. the restart was horrendous though. he did sound slightly remorseful after. Collard was on fire, pity about the power difference.

He definitely meant to do it. Coming into the corner he hit into the back of plato then moved to the outside straight away to try and get a run at him. Then cut into the inside and turned into plato.
He could have easily stayed along side him and got past as he had a good run at him.

Absolutely intentional, he should have the first place taken off him.

There was no need for it, Boardman had a much quicker car and an overtake was only a matter of time, he simply ran out of patience and punted Plato off...poor show IMO.

Have a look at Plato's tweets this evening, he is so angry about it!

Watched the race today, definitely on purpose to nudge Plato, maybe not to take him out but that was the inevitable result at that point.

Having said that, this sort of thing happens in BTCC, Plato has had his share of punting off slower cars when in a hurry. Still, agree there was no need here, he would have got past next time up the straight.

The restart was not Boardman's fault at all. He controls the pace at the front, if the others are not on the ball then that is their problem, not his.

Boardman got 3 points on his race license, £1k fine and a 6 place grid place penalty for today for the Knockhill incident.

Neal and Plato got the same for yesterday's pit lane incident, but their grid place penalty is suspended for the rest of the season.

Race 1 is just about to start.

had to take the dog to the vet so just watching plato and neal go at it there. both should be ashamed of themselves. Plato especially.

Madness, and Plato is now a BRDC Director! Hardly setting a good example!

Plato nudged Neal during quali for position to get a clear lap, on the cool down lap Neal retaliated by driving into the back of Plato...both equally guilty IMO.

The both of them have never been best of friends, not so much recently but years ago when there was a lot more contact they were always bumping into each other and slagging each other in interviews.

Was a good race in the end. That Wrathall chap is really putting the heat up the rear ends of the big boys, very impressive. Well sponsored too presumably?

Saw it myself, I think he wouldnt have been so angry had it not been for the huge crash he had.
