Great show once I found it...arrived at the normal spot and no cars!!! Didnt realise there was a new location...opppsssss!
Saw @BarryPort, @Mark King at a distance and heard Jason with the Mustang getting a wee interview....
I didn't see half of the stuff. Needed to have an hour at the crack of dawn to go round everything without the crowds. Immense event.Ahhh that was you standing behind me! I asked myself about 5 times ‘Is that RickyB?’
Apologies for not reaching out.
Great day, prob my favourite car show on the callander but a serious hangover delayed car cleaning duties and I was that late they wouldn’t let my car in. My bad.
Thanks for the write up @Cooper , the only downside to your reports is the realisation I’ve missed a few cars on the day when you think you’ve seen it all!
Alan Simpson.Who was the guy doing the announcing, by the way? First time at the show so I don't know the familiar faces from year to year although I got that his name was Alan.
Was this the black drone buzzing round round lunch time? The reason I ask, is that I saw what looked like me and the family sat having a picnic down by the red aussie capri in the bottom right hand corner of the pic
Yea it was David’a from the Rsoc. Some pics of kit!Was this the black drone buzzing round round lunch time? The reason I ask, is that I saw what looked like me and the family sat having a picnic down by the red aussie capri in the bottom right hand corner of the pic
@Mark King: I heard a few disparaging comments in the crowd hence my curiosity, but I get why he does the presenting. He's got the right personality for a show of that size and calibre; for anyone only up for a nose around he makes the whole thing a lot more approachable.
