Ever since my dad had an Audi S4 Avant B8 back in 2015 I’ve always wanted to own one. The just seem to be a excellent all round package to own and the power your able to extract from the 3.0 TFSI engine is mental.

So after years of wanting one I finally decided it was time to pull the trigger and buy one

It had to be a specific spec it had to be a B8.5 as I think the B8 is starting to look a bit dated now in comparison

It also had to have
•Pan Roof
•Supersport seats
•Drive select
•adaptive dampers
•black edition

And finally after months of looking and waiting for a car which suited my budget I finally found one

A 2012/62 Avant finished in Monsoon Grey with all the options I wanted and more came up for sale in Bristol. So I made my enquires on the car to see what the history ect of the car was like…

2 Owner car with a full comprehensive Audi main dealer history…. Yep I’ll have that please.

Left a deposit and booked my flights and boat and I was away to pick it up

The car drives excellent feels like a brand new car on the car road.

Of course being me it’s not going to stay standard for long it’s going to stage 2(480ish bhp) but for now the main thing will be to get all the common 3.0 TFSI issues sorted and get all the oils changed including a full service on the 7 speed S-Tronic Gearbox

Stay tuned cause this is going to be a quick one 8o|

That looks fantastic, certainly doesn’t look it’s age. And nearly 500 brake with a map, epic.

Be very careful who you use for your tuning .i spent thousand's chasing figures on mine and eventually got there but the money spent was big .intake, intercooler, pulleys, throttle body, exhaust, down pipes you name it.rapid at the end and a brilliant reliable car for over 4years .

That looks a cracker and the best seats. Between yours and @Ben I have been looking at these as a potential upgrade for the mk4. Plenty of well priced one’s in England. Great colour too. Enjoy

Lovely - I would own another one in a heart beat! Your spec is 100% what I would be after too!

My old B8 2009 - spec was perfect bar no pan roof

So I’ve finally started to make a bit of progress on the car….

1st thing for me was to lose the chrome Audi badges so I fitted a set of black ones along with a set of led fog light bulbs too..

After that I then had a bit of wrapping done… I got the roof bars and the lips on the sideskirts wrapped gloss black along with the front windows lightly tinted and chameleon tint on the front too…

An APR intake with a forge motorsport intake pipe was then purchased and the difference it made was unreal! The supercharger sound is unbelievable with it sounds awesome and looks class too..

I also got a stage one remap and tcu map from auto-tune but still need to put the car on the dyno to see what power it’s producing atm (guessing approx 400-410ish)

loads of other plans to come but just really enjoying it it’s such a comfortable car to drive and has that power there if you need to use it

Had me at chameleon tint :worried:

Centre res box delete is popular with these, no gain but more noise! Rear wiper delete would be a nice touch IMO.

Yeah will be getting either the ecs or 034 motorsport x-pipe for it until I can afford a AWE touring system :joy:

Few changes made in the last few weeks…

Had the car up on the dyno at autotune as I was curious to see what power it was putting out after getting a stage one map…. Made 392bhp which isn’t too bad but in the coming weeks it will be much more……

The Peelers were doing my head in looking at them on the car don’t suit it imo so they have taken off and a set of A5 rotors put on instead. These will do till a set of 20’s make there way on next year

Next thing was it needed lowered as it was too high and felt a bit unpredictable in corners so a set of 40mm H&R’s were fitted and it sits much better now

Oh and a cheap private reg aswell… 10 points to whoever can guess what it means :joy:

Saw you somewhere in Belfast yesterday I think. Noticed the reg but didn’t know it was a member car.

Looks great, and great dyno figure too. I like the wheels, but actually prefer the peelers. Nice plate too

Fantastic car. These are in that "do absoluetly everything well" category, a brilliant choice.

Keen to see how it ends up.

Few more small updates…. Carried out a quick oil change as I’d done 5k miles from the last one and stuck a maxton front splitter on..

Then decided to fit a smaller supercharger pulley… went for the revo one as it was slightly cheaper than the forge one. The difference with the pulley is unbelievable even with the map not tweaked to suit it yet.. heading to autotune this week to have it adjusted, hoping for in around 430-440bhp.. will post figures later in the week!
