Really puts it into perspective of how quiet the cars are when you can hear the gearbox whine when they go past

Hope Jules Bianchi is okay.
Didn't even know he went off till you said.

And just heard them say he possible hit the jcb thing lifting sutils car?

That could be very bad hitting something that solid and with high ground clearance :/

The digger yoke had a right rear puncture when it was seen trying to lift Sutil's Sauber, don't think Jules would have hit that side though.

Not good when you see the helicopter on track.

*FIA say Jules is unconscious, hit whatever it was sideways. Praying.

Yeah seen the flat wheel and was wondering what happened.

BBC coverage said he hit that jcb thing lifting sutils car

May not have hit from that side but with the height there of the ground it's very possible he could have went under enough to hit that wheel :/

Was an "interesting" race otherwise.

That pass by Lewis was awesome, in the incar from his car you could see absolutely nothing in the spray from Nico. And then left him for dead :grinning: As said above, not bad for someone who really is no good at all at driving an F1 car :p

Great race from RB too, some big passes from them as well. Just a bit of a bummer for Vettel with that pit stop at the last safety car, but then, had the race restarted it might have proved inspired. Ah well. Ric finished ahead, that is the main thing :innocent:

Inspired first tyre change by Button, he really has an uncanny knack for picking those moments in changing conditions.

Was hoping for a better finish from Williams, not the way they dropped back...

And as for Ferrari... Well done to Alonso for leaving, good luck to Vettel for joining, lol

Decided to remind back to see if I missed anything.

Looks like there's a car behind the crane thing and the marshals were stopping it and getting him to let sutils car down. And that's also where the medical car went to and sutil has said he's fine.

Oh bugger, see Vettel is classed as third... Does that pit stop of his not count then? He was behind Ricciardo when they were behind the safety car on track?

Ah, so he got lucky then :grinning: Right call to pit in that case, assuming someone at RB had read the rule book and worked it out before (y)

The more you read/hear about the accident the worse it sounds.

Be okay, Jules.

Cannot help thinking about the girl who hit a support truck on a Williams test day last year...
