I just had quick chance to test my 0-60:
Launch: 3500 rpm (should be above 4500)
Shift: 7500 +- I think was focussing on the road
Full tank of gas
Tyres not fully warmed up

I stopped speeding up at 64mph so I only tested 0-60mph

So far I’m happy, but with perfect shifts, launch, warmed up tyres I expect the car to go under 5?

Another try, this time with launch control and better shifts… still need to get -0.93s

About 2 weeks till the next show
So I decided to do the things I realllyyy don’t want to do!

Anyway started working on my extended side scoop on the passenger side.

Still need to make the curve perfectly which requires a bit of extending, Sanding down and start over until it’s “right”

Then make something in the centre to help air?

Also thinking of cutting the inside a little bit more (1.5-2cm) of where the scoop is for my intercooler (W2A) which was against the fibreglass.

Having owned a 2zz celica and driven a 2zz swapped MR2 its been an ambition of mine to k20/24 swap an mr2 at some point in future. Definitely following your build with interest!

Has been a ride over the last few years haha
K20/24 is definitely a very nice engine to put in the mr2. But the 2zz is still nice! Small turbo on them and they really fly

Now I’m debating about adjusting the scoop to follow the exact door curve which is pretty hard to do unfortunately but it’s possible

It’s the same car just went back to stock body and make changes from there

Ahh I understood most panels of the MRS bolt on but that's handy.

That way you can finalise body work and swap on in a weekend.

Im not going too , going to stay stock make it a sleeper

hey guys i need a dyno

have contacted every company in NI about this
being ignored because i have my own remote tuner that need to finish the part on the dyno.


Any tips?
or anyone who owns a dyno and can help me out here?

Gsportcars used to rent his Dyno I think. Don't know if he still does might be worth a try if you haven't already.
