Frozen Handbrake !!

thread bump!!

wifes car is frozen solid (mx5) cant free handbrake at all, hammered calipers hot water etc, any ideas??? one wheel free other locked

id keep going with the hot water if its a caliper handbrake lad...will free up eventually!

Yep, tons of hot water. Just keep pouring it on. My brake shave frozen solid both yesterday and today and in both cases it took about 4 litres of hot water before they freed up.
