Had this a wee while now and done a fair bit to it already, so thought best start a thread as a handy way of keeping track of how much money I've wasted on it
Wanted one for ages, and finally bought it last September. It's just a bit of cheap fun really, 9bhp and reported 189mpg. Massive global following and a giggle a second to ride. Actually have more fun riding this on the roads round here than I do on the S1000RR I find when usually I'd be braking and coming down the gears I just hold this open flat out, tip in and hope for the best lol.
Going in for graphics very soon as want to make it a wee race rep so will post up photos when I get this done.
This is when I first got it, standard exhaust and suspension etc
Quickly changed the exhaust for a bit more noise, unreal difference and 0.4bhp is most welcome
Then as the standard suspension is made for wee far Eastern build type people and not fat Scottish lard asses I changed the rear suspension to cope with the extra demand. Loads of adjustablity and comfy!
Then it just got out of hand with brake lines, levers, carbon mud guards and other bits, new number plate, window in the cam chain cover, new grippy Michelin tyres, front brake disc and pads, windscreen, bar brace, reservoir cover, new reg etc etc. Be plenty more also, never ends with these wee bikes. May increase it to a 189cc from the 125cc for a bit more poke, but tops out at 70mph as is so more than enough.
