Hi all,

Will be selling logs again this year. Similar to my previous thread, all hardwood, all dried for 2 years. Mix of breeds, mainly being beech, ash and some oak. All cut to suit woodburning stove sizes, nothing too bulky. Moisture tested, all 20% and below being air dryed.

£3.5 per bag, with delivery all across County Antrim area. For size context, each bag is around double what you’d get in a standard net bag from a filling station.

Will be a week before orders can be delivered but getting orders ready now.

Either PM or call / text 07935907822.

Any questions, let me know.
Thanks,
Ian

Would you be able to facilitate a bag of just oak? I'd be using it for smoking/cooking?

Is hardwood a lot better to burn than soft? I have only ever used softwood as it’s cheaper but is the hard stuff worth the extra?

Biased opinion but yes, hardwood gives a much longer burn than softwood.

Few customers that have changed said hardwood works out better value despite costing more as you burn a lot less of it per night than softwood.

I would have thought that too that if they burn longer then might be more economical. Some of the stuff I have been getting is pretty damp soft wood which does burn ok but you can go through a lot in a night.

Don’t suppose you come as far as Garvagh for a delivery do you or maybe we could get a few guys this direction wanting to make a worthwhile trip.
