like im late
Even though I really got to see none of the show bar taking pimp jr for a toilet break when @Reno_LV kindly took the helm I had a literal no stopping for pictures walk round the show.

There were some amazing cars there, but the 3 of the show for me were
@Reno_LV ’s S2K - the perfect mix of subtle aftermarket performance on a stunning car
@chrisd1 ’s AE86. Because for no other reason other than it’s awesome. In every way!
The rocket bunny RX7 - still one of my favourite ever cars in the maddest kit available. Sublime.

Other than that it was an ok show for me. Good for getting a bit of brand recognition, good for repeat customers and being able to chat to some of you guys but especially with a lot of the southerners me and my brand is an unknown entity down there

Something to work on

The other main difference between this and the Dubshed type shows is the noise!

There is something beautiful about the noise of a big petrol turbo spooling up, pops and bangs from exhausts with overfuelling etc. that all the popcorn limiters in the world and straight through pipes on dervs can never compete with!

Thanks @Big Pimp Really appreciate that and glad you enjoyed the car. Having a year out seems to have kept the car fresh for people to enjoy this year, it did well really well.

Sorry again we all never got a proper chat, running a stand at these big events is a whole different level, I honestly have so much respect now for the traders who do it every show.. Like you the only real look around I got was going to the toilet lol, luckily I seen most I wanted to the night before or early Sunday.

ALOT of my following is South, and the amount of guys asking me about Anachem was very cool, it'll be good to branch out more to them. Kicked myself I forgot to get some hydraclean

Not once did the backfires and pops even hit my radar, it all calmed down then Chris Brady decided to unleash hell 10 feet from me whilst I was deep in concentration, I'm fairly fkn certain I followed through.

Pity I couldn't get my car ready for it. Still not found someone to do the bodywork.

Was some really nice cars there. But the amount of R34's there had reinforced my decision to go with the S30 over the R34, not that I don't still love a nice Bayside Blue 34 but they are just a bit too common. Also made me want a nice S14 as my daily driver.

It was a jap show, but I loved the SR20 powered MK2 Escort, quality of the work was top notch.

The stands where good too, went to see @Big Pimp but he had vanished, I didn't realise until after it must have been @Reno_LV left to guard the stall? I was the mug looking the snow foam lol
Didn't realise it was you, I was the one talking to Reinis when you arrived. Wonder how many member from here I saw and didn't know. If you had come back 5 mins later you would have got Big Pimp.

Ah shame I didn't know otherwise I'd of had a chat! .. I forgot all about the snow foam and was in a rush to escape when I remembered. The woman had places to be and just about got back on time lol wasn't happy when I said I wanted to go back for snow foam when I was half out the door:joy:

I've got talking to quite a few members over the years now, some decent folks too. Always good talking to other petrol heads.

Unclaimed prises for the show.

Someone needs to tell who ever did that list that Impreza has just the one 'z' in it.

Also they really needed to give registrations out when listing the winners. Some cars had two numbers issued to them and almost nobody knew if the number they were reading out related to them. I had no clue what the number on my car was and as it was between thethe two halls I wasnt about to go and find out.

They've got a top 3 Honda trophy in the post for me. #144... Didnt expect it but a nice surprise considering everything that was there! Only found out today. Always a long day but I enjoyed it. I was right behind the guy that bounced off the kerb! The video didn't do the bang any favours! It was LOUD

Thanks everyone for your kind words
I had 8 months of gathering interest and seeking out cars then the task to convince them to apply to enter the event. I tried my very very best to show case the best of the best the standard and work owners put into the cars was phamoninal and I’m greatful for the effort truely I am! I always like to ask feed back for areas to improve or suggestions.

But first of all here is what I see as improvements to help sustainability and potentially traders.

1. Jcc costs the price of a small house to
Present so would it be advisable to spread over 2 days for sustainability? I know dubshed use this model but understandibly 5 million worth of cars is maybe not keen with the Idea of over night security? I mean most owners of high end entries arrived Sunday morning rather than the Saturday evening load in option so would it be an issue 2 surrender your car for 2 days?

2. I had 100k flyers to 100k houses of which I can only guess the return did anyone here get 1

Can’t thank everyone enough for support the event just took off like a rocket it’s only 3 years running now and has exploded with popularity
And support. I think we can all agree that Ireland has an incredible collection of jdm machinery

Thanks @Cooper for write up great report as always :grinning:
