Car was dropped off to @Wild Thing for service and mentioned a slight knock from the steering. After inspection it appeared both top mounts were needing replaced and as you can see the split in the photo. New ones fitted and no more knocking and another docket for the folder of history
66k miles now. Hard to believe this is nearly 14 years old! Thanks again @Wild Thing for your excellent service and enjoyed the car chat!
Having had the absolute pleasure of a test drive in this car a few days ago - whomever buys it will be grinning ear to ear for a very long time! Its in immaculate condition and a credit to both of you on this thread who've owned it.
I keep eyeing this up, always fancied one and this looks a corker but sadly a little out of my price range. Im sure whoever buys will be getting a great one. Glwts
And she's away on her trip over to England. Happy to know it's gone to another enthusiast that will take care of it though and hopefully will make an appearance on here.
Definitely enjoyed my mini ownership and am sure I will be back in another in the future!
Was lucky to fly over to Ireland this week and collect this little gem. The condition of it is incredible best condition r53 I’ve ever seen anyway! I’ve got a few plans in mind for it but for now I’ll just be enjoying it how it is.
Had its first little detailing session today and it’s fair to say I’m very happy with my purchase
Best of luck with the car @Tom242. You've got a cracker and one I will miss for sure. Be great to see what you do with it. Has to be one of the best examples about! A lot of credit to @Neil_M for that!!
