Try cool metal customs Randalstown mate .
Seen a few of his cars done .
Done a gtr for a fella I sold a few parts too . Real sharp job , from bare metal .
Very fussy and tidy worth a try .

The photos are no longer there but I seem to remember it had a lot of rust and a lot of complied metal areas were replaced. Looked like a great job, need to check on the price though, my budget is not exhaustive.

Blair’s in doagh? Well known for competition fabrication and restoration?

I actually suggested them to Ian too.

Certainly seen their craftsmanship first hand on 911s, Ferrari's and Audi Quattros.

Andrew is doing the TR for me. Hard to find someone that will do proper structural work and not just fill it with ****.

So True.

With the options I've got from the suggestions here I'll surely be able to find someone who will be able to do a proper job of it.

What engines are in them above with their hoods up, let’s see who knows? I know so I am just testing you :grinning:

No need to guess.

Yellow - RB26, similar setup to mine (but not quite as neat ;) To be fair, he had his engine in before mine so I looked at what I didn't like on his or what I though could be improved and made sure to do it better on mine. His engine swap took two years to complete, would have drove me mad, I aint that patient)
Creme & Black - L28 Turbo
Red - 3uz-fe V8

Found a video I had forgotten I had taken. Had the microphone in the engine bay so the engine sounds loud but you can hear the turbo sounds at low rpms's.

Its really killing me not being able to drive this, its so much fun and I am missing out on it.

That is rediculous. Is that a blowoff valve or a sex toy. Or high speed darth Vader. Awesome!

Been checking out the suggestions I've had but a lot of shops just are not interested in a project like this, they only want their easy insurance jobs. Still waiting on some getting back to me.

Contacting Retro power again as a backup, but trying to get an idea of what their pricing will be, want a top job but if they are charging £20k for this then it won't work for me.

Anyone know contact details for Cool Metal Customs, or even if he still operates, very little info on them out there.

Still not found someone.

Blairs are not that interested and earliest spot if they did do it is late next year, they are already full up with long jobs as their main work is insurance.

KRCR didn't reply to me, although I could still try phoning, if the were interested they would have replied

Retro Power are not replying, probably because I asked for a guideline price as I don't know if they are the type of place to charge £20k+ which obviously I can't budget.

Trying Cool Metal Customs from the FB link ali919 gave me.

Not tried Mervyn Johnston yet but I can't find any proper examples of their work to be sure I am happy with it.

Would try CR Auto Restorations but would like more reviews, proof of their work.

Not much else happening, driving me crazy, just want the bodywork done so I can drive it again.

Started on making a new rear harness, first step, tear down old one and document.
