Not if you have the bottom of the 6*9s boxed off lad and good powerful front components.

if you have good powerful comps up front you do not require rear fill!! If you feel the need for rear fill, get some coaxials into the standard postions and have them faded well down.

Chris....I ran 2 powerful 12's each with their own dedicated monoblock Genesis amp. i also had a 2 channel Genesis for the front comps. Set up for SQ, but still capable of 141db. 6x9's were never required!!

andy my system is also running over 142db its just that i had the 6x9s before, and have 2 holes in my parcel shelf, and its easier having them than paying for a new shelf which is prooving difficult to find.
as mr suitor says del, theyr not out of phase, theyr justnot doing their f*cking job!
hopefully ollie will have some news for me tomorrow and well see what happens from there
