I was contemplating the engine flushes - to remove carbon/soot build up on the sensors, etc.
Something similar to the Forte treatments.
Whilst I like the notion of CeraTec (ceramic being a good material), I'm sceptical of it in the same way I am of Teflon ones.
Like I said, given they were involved in F1 (one presumes supplying oils rather than using the medium purely for marketing purposes), that sways my thinking that they are merely marketeers like some of the notorious US ones.

Anyway, aside from their additives, what about their engine/gearbox oils? Much of a muchness or anything special?

I dont know too much about their oils, you got any tech specs on them?

Cheers

Guy.

Not bad, their premium range is PAO based I believe.

Thanks Guy.
Think I'll grab some of their stuff and be the local guinea pig then.
If it all ends in tears, at least I know you've got some stuff.

Don't know if this would be your area but my bike is due a service soon. Can you recommend an engine oil for a 98 Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit? The bike is used every day and all year round.

Can you do used oil analysis as well?
I'd be interested to know after 82K what's showing up in the oil.

Free spelling and grammar corrections - just a couple of my many services. ;)

The Duckhams is ok, its a mid range semi synthetic. 10w-40 grade is also ok.

If you want to treat it then 5w-40 or 0w-40 synthetic.

I meant to ask, how do you rate the Redline Oils from the US?
Have you tested them or looked into them previously?

Pretty good. Their engine oils are good, some of their gear oils are questionable.
