We all know which car ruled the road young chunky - 2.0 8v (or is that 1.2) Nova's would never keep up with 185bhp and 300lbs of derv muscle!!

perhaps if he put a 2.0l 8v in the escort, insured and taxed it as a derv it would make him hard and therefore cool in some peoples eyes though

yes its when the derv hits peak torque, (usually around 700rpm?) it causes other cars to get unsettled and thrown off the road because there is so much torque ....
