As much as people malign them, BL cars really weren’t any worse than others of the period and one positive consequence of their, in my opinion, undeserved reputation is that prices remain low and they are a very affordable way to get into classic motoring compared to Fords or Vauxhalls of the same era.

Guy down the road here had an NI reg identical to that until a few years ago, checked the reg and it's on sorn so maybe up his driveway or in his garage. Had had a wee weld on sill last I saw it about 5 years ago.
That’s the one the old couple drive about. Both atleast in their 80’sStandard looking S14 is a rare sight these days
