Where did you get the wheels?! Those are 240 euro each from France new.
And what did you use to degrease the engine bay, or is it resprayed?

Simon hows things,

Yeah those wheels are the Speedline 434's, I got them of a fella who bought a GpA Car that came with a load of spares,

The engine bay has been painted, tho it got a good wash down with panel wipe before the prep, not a lot of rust about her just the battery tray and around the servo,

If you are giving your bay a clean try Giv-ran on the Boucher RD, ask for "ProSpray Slow Panel Wipe", I've use all types and this stuff it 1st class

Any joy getting an interior? I'm still on the hunt for 1

I havent had a chance to update this for a while,

The engine, box and front suspension are all finished now so I moved onto the bodywork,

The new bonnet is painted and I through a coat of paint over the wings,

There were a few surface rust spots on the doors and at the top of the quarters so I ended up painting the 2 doors,

I just have the 2 quarters to paint, It's a bit of a ballbuster having to paint it 1 panel at a time as the compressor would struggle
and I dont have the room to get round both sides a once,

Should have the painting finished for wed/thurs then a good flat and buff, build her up over the weekend then get her out for a bit of testing,

Now a few update pics

Taking shape well(y). Whens your 1st outing this year? Shouldn't be too long until most of the motorsport events start up again after winter.

Cheers, Yeah its near there 1 more panel to paint then flat, buff and build her up,

The Sprints started last Saturday, Tho I am more for doing the Hills,
I called up to Nutts Corner to see about the reg changes for this year, so we need back seats and a few other wee changes,

There is 2 more Sprints before the Hills start in May, I think we will be out for the Sprint on the 17th at Nutts,
I'll be doing all of the 11 Hills this year and just the 3 Sprints at Nutts Corner

Got a wee bit more done over the weekend,

Both quarter panels now painted,
Just to do the lower part below the mouldings + the rear bumper and thats all the painting finished,

I gave the N/S panels a flat and a buff, the O/S is still too soft so I replaced the CV boot that I bust and fitted new rear shoes,

After talking to a few people at the sprint last week it turns out I needed to move the battery back into the engine bay
so after a bit of rewiring its back up front and the homemade airbox/heat shield I was working on is now in the bin lol

Few more pics

Cheers lads,

Yeah been at it on and off 3 months now and as mneill says its starting to look more like a car, instead of a load of bits layin about the garage lol
That coat of paint fair freshened it up so i'm starting to see what it will be like when finished, another few weeks should have it on its wheels out of the garage,

Well got a few more bits done over the weekend, the interior looked a bit tatty so pulled it out and painted the floor,
Went for black this time as the white marked too easy,

The paint on the D/S panels was hard enough to flat and buff so got that done as well,
The arms were hanging off me on sunday night as it took a fair bit of flattin due to the paint sinking around the repairs
and a lot of dirt blew out around the petrol filler neck on the quarter,

Yet more buffing last night, got started into the last panel, the bonnet

This had the most dirt so left it to the end, flatted the dirt first then the rest of the panel

Buffed up and just needs 1 more go tomorrow, that's the paint work finished so just need to build it back up

1st Flat you can see the orange peel effect

2nd Flat with less orange peel effect
