and yes was the slowest
but the mk1 was 1 sec slower 0-60 in 3.2 versus mark 2
also mk2 is 100kg lighter

@roadsteralex i owned an original Golf Mk3 2.8 VR6 in the past and yes it sounded lovely but I’m now able to experience the Audi 2.5 5 cylinder and I know which one I’d rather have. But hey it’s your money so enjoy spending it

OLD Mr2 Record:
Audi TT To record a Base line before I do any tuning/changes:
0-60: No LC Tests unless info provided
60-100: from around 20mph full throttle
Note: Also, I figured my tires are very very bad, while all the MR2 launches were done with pretty much band new Pilot Sport 4 tires; which may make a difference.
Which will be interesting when I swap to PS4S if the performance will go up just by doing that
Half a tank of gas by the way

I dailied a 3.2 V6 TT for a few years. I generally concur with some of the posts on here, I think it’s a complete waste of money trying to tune one. They do sound great, but a tuner’s engine they are not - if you want sound, stick with the V6, if you want power then the TFSI or TTRS variants would be a much better base to start from. Though maybe TTRS could arguably provide both with its rorty 5cyl, with the right exhaust and intake. But ultimately, it’s your money and your choice - just offering my opinion as someone who owned one and looked into all this extensively.

He's right for getting the car he likes the sound off. I'm the same with the Imprezas, you can tell me JDM are better all you want but I'd still want the unequal headers burble.
I loved my r32 Golf. I thought it was quick enough for what it was but ultimately it was the auto that turned me off it. Now if it was quicker it might've made a difference.

but 5.56 right now (or 5.2 without roll out) is not that at all
To give you an idea, here is a dragy of a TTS and the mods done to it; not sure whats up with the shift tbh but still
and i'm still bone stock with crappy tyres.
I don't think this car is too bad, I'll accept the 5.56 as a base line for now.
I'll test changes to the car and see how they go
Do dragy test at the same place if i can and keep comparing data

In the mean while, to change tyres to PS4S I need 19" wheels so I have been looking around and there isnt much i like
So I put the old MR2 ones next to the car to get a "feel" for it and see if i like it or not
Obv the new wheel size will not be 17" but 19" and less tyre as well.
But in general, I do think the style of wheel would work with my setup.
They are light as well which will help performance wise

What's custom about the exhaust? Looks like a Lucifer system going by the photo. I've the same one on my bora and the quality of it is perfect
