Had wipers stolen in town before, though they didn't even leave me the old blades. Also had front side lights stolen from a Mini, dust caps multiple times on that car, a badge off an Astra of all things and an old girlfriend had 4 steel wheels with brand new tyres stolen off her Rover Metro at the Abbeycentre and a few months later they stole all the petrol out of the tank by drilling a hole in it and draining it.

Actually the whole car was stolen once and we found it near Valley leisure centre. Knackered the ignition and steering lock but we got it going and brought it home only to find a boot full of booze in it which was a nice surprise :joy:

My uncle has a friend who has a whole car door stolen in the 90s. Came out to go to work in the morning and the passenger door was just gone :joy:

Was brought up in west belfast in the 70's-80's which was expectedly mental. Had tools stolen from the garage, numerous attempts at stealing my dad's MkV Cortina from the drive, only for it to get nicked from a church car park and pushed around 1/4 mile because we had a kill switch on it and they couldn't get it started. Was fun going to get it with my brother with the cops sitting way off in the armoured landrovers in case it was booby trapped. We reckon it was the lads who stole it helped us push start it again due to the battery being flat with them trying to get it going. They were asking how we got it to fire and where the kill switch was....
TBH it was the reason I wanted out of Belfast altogether because it was constant, every weekend at least one attempt to either break into the cars or the garage or the house. Mental, completely does my head in tbh.

I had a windscreen stolen from my mini in a car park in Belfast around Christmas one day. They didn’t take the rubber and I didn’t immediately notice until I drove forward and felt the wind in my face and just put my hand forward out through the now empty hole with sheer WTF face. Me and the Mrs drove back to Bangor wearing sunglasses like that 😂

It’s been about 15 years or more and I still can’t get over it lol. A windscreen for a mini was about £30 at the time lol

Quite an accusation on the first part which I won't be commenting on, though the companies house thing actually checks out, TypeTwo NI was dissolved on 25 July 2023. Surely that means they can't trade right now?

Yep, it becomes illegal for them to trade as they were.
No, it makes it illegal to trade as the limited company, which if you went on to companies house and looked, has always been a dormant company anyway.

Nothing wrong with Michael continuing to trade as a Sole Trader as he has been.

Allegedly, Michael McBride of Type Two, Glen Road, the so-called "Honda specialist", supposedly has a stolen Honda S2000 in his workshop with the numbers ground off it.
If this is true, it would certainly be worth further investigation. Especially as he has apparently just been shut down by HMRC last week, according to Companies House.
You @DownWithThis sorta thing?
