Fuel, Oil, Water, Brakes & Clutch Plumbing all Complete, I'll be happy enough not to see a length of braided hose again for quite some time!

Windscreen is due to be installed later today

Then fill it with fluids -
Prim the oil system, Run to dry sump pump off a drill to check for any basic leaks and put some oil up around the engine..
Bleed the Brakes and Clutch.
Fill it with Coolant.
Fit the Propshaft, centre exhaust section & front headlight panel...

Then i think i've run out of job i can do before wiring

I'd be having it wired up to as few wires that would allow it to run and be out in the street leaving 11s everywhere lol

Windscreen fitted, you say? 🥳

Delayed to Friday now, but may look complete by next weekend..

Wiring.. wouldn’t know where to start Fergus, firmly leaving it up to someone else.. if it was only a matter of a few wires I’d have if running by now!

It's not my favourite thing either tbh but I will try anything if I'm interested in the end results. A lot of the project binky and speed factory videos go into good detail on wiring which is useful.
Possibly need to do a bit of wiring if I can get my finger out on some of the projects in the garage lol.

Yes, as I have found even with only dry use its impossible to keep the underside clean.

Just think about being inside it looking out at things going at speed rather than being underneath it looking up at it.

It is a lovely thing right enough though but she was built to be used.

Hi Iain, what the spec of your rear axle?, do you have a spec for how much torque it can take?

The axle should be good for up to around 500lbft

Its a Group 1 semi floating Ford Atlas, upgraded with thicker wall tubes, semi floating 2 piece Quaife shafts, cambered, toe adjustable, fitted with a 3.77:1 CWP on a TranX plated Diff.

Should cope with my engine torque and 11” of slicked lovely :grinning:

Who did you buy it from?

The Basic Group 1 axle was built by MS Motorsport (Mark Smyth) in Newry

Then fabricated further by Wishart Motorsport to suit my shell.

And Final assembly by MS Motorsport

I guess on the mainland 1st port of call would be fosteks

He has made a start and has all my electronics so too late to do that!

Thanks dude, it’s come together nicely!

it’s insanely low tho, the top of the wing is my knee height!!

Time to land into the yard then.
