standard as far as I’m aware. They’re all working, they’re ticking even when there’s constant “deep” through the speakers. It’s annoying me because I know probably in a day or two or if I get in it now it may be working again lol

So my abs and 4c suspension light came on and off then stayed on... noticed the driveshaft hub bolts were loose and this seemed like a common issue after doing abit of research...

so bought new replacements and used strong thread lock to help.

faults cleared and driving faultless again.

£13.30 fix... hard life

Devastating...

The indicator bulb decided to stop working

noticed crack in this water valve for headlight washer system, I temp sealed it with little joy.. searching for a replacement.

£2-£5 worth of issues, terrible what you have to endure when owning a volvo

That’s that disaster sorted, got new valve in halfords at a cheap price of £2.49

car is so dirty with doing a lot of miles over the last two days...roads with wet grit fairly gets your car dirty fast

158k thats only 13,000 added in my ownership in around 2.5 years

excuse the dirt was off last week and covered all sorts of miles in the big tank (unfortunately work related)

so thanks to the wind the other night... I heard my recycling tip over at 1:30am... I went out to pick it up which if anyone was recording send it in to you’ve been framed and make yourself a few hundred quid

didn’t notice due to being so dark but the dirty bugger blew the triple box trolley that hard it travelled and blew over and hit my beloved big blue. That was a nice thing to wake up too after dealing with a crying baby throughout the night

anyways.... it’s booked in next week to get dent removed as no paint had been broken.

If you think that’s bad you should see the recycling box after it hit the v70

140k, very pleased with it - fancy a set of R wheels and a boot spoiler but need to remember its my hacker!!
7 seats worth of cloth, thought id prefer leather but its absolutely immacualte, totally unmarked lol

all you v70 owners guilt tripped me into giving mine it's annual wash today.
that & the fact that the roof rails & window trims have turned green!
3 garages & not 1 with a working jet wash put that nonsense out of my head...
maybe next year

Cloth makes it abit more dated but I’m sure it’s amazingly comfortable

Finally back to it’s former glory, dent free

looking at post above with mileage 158k January... near 5 months on and it’s only +600 extra

around a tank a fuel in 5 months

dropped the big lady to get some love today...

Passenger light always looked abit cloudy more so in corner compare to the drivers headlight

also got the boot lid repaired, it’s always had that dark blue line what looked like a bad touch up attempt and i couldnt remove it so got the boot lid painted

Not much to report, annual trip to Donegal soon and will rack up a few hundred miles.. plan to get it minted this week and prepare for that

The alarm went off the other night for some reason unsure if it was the heat. I did notice earlier that night the dash stated driver door was open when it wasn’t but was late so turned internal lights off and locked it thinking il look at it in the morning…maybe it was related to why the alarm went off?

Anyways all is normal again the next day… due to lack of use I’m putting it down to low battery maybe causing issues? So I’ve put it on charge tonight to give it a full charge for its next voyage

Weak battery does play havoc with them, that breaker I have here done the same thing because the battery was weak. In other new though, the alarm siren is good lol

Yea the neighbour mentioned how loud it was

battery fully charged now and good drive in it today should sort it.
