Exactly 1yr old to the day. Was probably 2-3k left on it. 2 new ones ordered anyway, just need to rock the space saver for a couple of days 😂

Saturday I took off the winter wheels, I forgot how good this drives on proper tyres.
Today I took it to Halliday’s of Bushmills to get a BSI update because my alarm has been going off since the battery was disconnected, I think I caused it by not waiting long enough to disconnect it. All fixed now thanks to @JamieG95 and the team.

Nearly there with the Mini..

Supercharger service, new water pump, new header tank, various o rings, and new belt (haven’t the belt on properly in pic)
Cleaned up the block and painted black and repainted the supercharger.

New oil, filter & coolant flush tomorrow, radiator & bumpers on and make sure all is running well 😎

Well after booking mot yesterday for earliest available slot that was the 8th May and the car due mot on the 10th April I look this morning for closer cancellations, only one for the next mo th was this evening at 7pm so spent what time I had today getting the car ready. Needed 2 front top mounts changed using the deadly spring clamps, full check over, blinking led front side lights changed, long term exhaust crack welded, headlight levelling arm bodge replaced with proper job, front tracking done, full mot wash, Speedline scrubbed and fitted again and then headlights aligned on the way to mot with local mechanic I went to mot with fingers crossed.

And she flew through with zero issues and with plenty of interest from the tester as despite just being a Mazda they hadn’t seen an mps before, tester give it a boot full coming down the side of the centre to hand it back and was rather surprised at how well it takes off lol.

roll on the good weather and longer evening and lockdowns to end till I get burning plenty of super unleaded. Even with lockdowns I still put 37k miles on it in 2 years since the last mot.

Can I be weird and ask for more photos with the winters wheels on Zach? Look quite motorsport style (208 R2 rally car vibes) (y)

Monday really - 2 stage correction on the bonnet, couldn't raise the energy to do anymore. Took it over for the MOT later and passed. Sat in the driveway since.
