im sorry pal but £3800 is a ridiculous amount of money to be paying for car insurance... would you not consider something smaller for a year to build no claims?

Yes. £2700 was the best I could get. In January I could have had a Civic Type-R for £1600. This price hike almost killed me.
It was gift from my parents, probably because I got really good exams results, so I can drive up to Uni rather than staying there at £95/week. Plus it's my birthday in just over a months time...
ah fairplay then get the civic type r had a red one although it had been smacked was still an unreal car!
Nicky, that was the cheapest i could get ANYWERE. The corsa is a write off now but the Dturbo is still looking at £3k for insurance. Dont know why it's so dear but need to bite the bullet.
@ people saying £3000+ is dear, lowest quote i got on my 1.2 in my own name was £7600 when it came to the bit... not a game for young drivers these days
i cant get over the price you two are paying for insurance! i would be going boogaloo lol! try dickson's in belfast want me to get you the number? is my uncles place im sure he could try and help you.
Yeah mate, if you could please. I dispise (sp) paying that kinda money but what else can i do, need to take it on the chin i suppose.
