As per title must be a proper mint car, i dont mind some tasteful mods, oem upgrades, subtle exhaust or a bit of a hike in power but no thrashed, tarted up or rough examples.

Must have a full history, mot and no rusty arches or floors

Having owned 3 impreza's i'm not here to waste peoples time, i have the cash waiting and have no problem travelling from Belfast for the right car. Let me know of any hidden gems out there

he is a completely reasonable guy, but that said with a car like that you know you wouldnt be dealing with a mug.

he will probably want what its worth if he is to sell, currently he has bought a new project which he collected from the ards peninsula, and when he was here he threatened to part with the subaru to free up funds for his next project.

I can tentatively enquire on your behalf if you would like to know what money he would like to sell at.

Yes Phil if you could get a rough figure for me to work with, looks like its not standard either? is it running big power?

but he has a forged engine and GT35 sat for it.

What happened to the wrx you had sorted @Burt2000?

Few we reasons for not going for it. Cant insure it as classic policy so thought id like a fresher one around 98 onwards as insurance wont be any different.

As genuine as it was and low miles, it was very old and hadnt been driven in a long time and been sat up so needed quite a few bits upgraded to get it how id want it. Also there was a dry bearing noise coming from under the timing belt pulleys area, could have been a simple fix or a big job so decided to leave alone, would be a great buy for somebody with the time and room to work at it though as he wasnt lookin big money at all.

ah not as promising a lead as i firstly (mis)understood it to be, he had joked to my friend that he might sell the scoob to go mental with his new car.

this was indeed a joke to be taken at face value, he doesnt plan to sell at the moment and the previous owner has 20k+ sat awaiting the moment his position changes.

True...its a really lovely P1 and im sure it stands the owner a serious amount of money but 20k gets you some motor or motors these days
