I wash my car at the front of the house, and it always get's the sun... But when you wash the car, you can't get it dried quick enough on a WARM day, so it is leaving water spots on my car....

Thought this might help...

Any ideas DETAILERS?????????????

Aye... I've had the bigger version for a little over a year now - 40ppm...

They are brilliant. The car dries with zero spots...

I must say it is nearing the end of its life.

I connect it to my power washer for a final rinse.

Tim supplied it to me a a silly low price...

That one you are looking at - will last approx 40 washes (depending on how hard your water is)

The larger one I bought - twice that size lasted approx 90 washes + I used it when cleaning the house windows (with long handled brush)

You know when they are dead cause the contents change colour - in my filter they whent from green to purple.

But you will notice that you will start to get water sports again.

If you get a good deal Amos let me know cause I would like to replace mine.

Ohh... one way to make them last longer is to buy both the 0ppm and 30ppm filter and connect them in series.

Wouldn't recommend them, not when you can buy rechargeable versions for not much more that'll work out cheaper in the long run.
One is the Peerless, and another is this - http://www.reachandclean.co.uk/acatalog/De-Ionising_resin_and_water_softener_resin.html

You'd be wise to invest in a TDS meter to measure the mineral content, and compare to what you're getting once the filter is connected.
Once you see the numbers rising over time, you know the filter is in need of replacing or recharged.

You just missed out on a 7.5% discount on the Aq one for DW members thru Ultimate Finish - ended in May.

Evan is my chosen rinse water...

Seriously though the bigger filter I have will clean 1700 Litres of water.

I have, and whilst it did work well for a while, recently the filters haven't been as good as previously.
No reason to think they have a useable shelf life which is now past, but the ones I bought at the time being used now are not doing the jo as well as they were to begin with.
It's also been discontinued, hence why they were £6 and filters £1 each with BOGOF from Instore/Poundstretcher

Ok quick question for Lenny26 is it the 0ppm or the 30ppm one that we need....

I take it everyone will want the smaller one's to see how they work....???

I found the 30ppm worked well for me...

It depends how hard your water is. The 30ppm will last longer than the 0ppm cause it doesn't filter the water as much.

With the 30ppm you will still get a few water spots - but sure you get this anyway even if you dry your car:grinning:
