I’d still be firing down a layer of floor paint even if tiling willcut the dustlevels immensely

That wee paint shop over at corner of moira rd and halftown road wasn’t very good one 5litre did the job for me
Was online looking there and see a lot of recommendations for regal floor paint might give it a bash see how it turns out.

Still needs another coat of paint (I thought 10l would have been enough 🙁)
Floors not as bad as I thought either,a quick grind and a coat of floor paint will do it
But happy with the change from the way it was on Friday morning 😀

I remember thinking when you said about painting the walls, I wouldn’t want to be stripping those walls for painting, then, a couple of days later you’ve done it! That looks fantastic, really really fantastic, what wal are you reinstating the stuff on t(e wall again, looks super neat in the pic now, I know you need to reinstate but have you thought about some cheap wall units to tidy all your stuff away?

I’m unsure what to do yet,I have an extension to the garage through that door on the right,I’m hoping to organise it a bit better with shelving so I can keep most of the stuff out there, not going to hold it all though so I’ll see how it goes 😬

Honestly....that looks fantastic, you’ll really want to me getting that hall sorted, you’ll not wanna mess that up! Ps, some mats or tiles of some sort where the wheels sit as I’ve seen them lift paint of a floor.

Really does look good that!

Think you mentioned a small area/hall of the door that you might shelve to keep some of the stuff out of the garage?

Possibly picked you up wrong? Looks great anyway :grinning:

Aye it’s an extension to the garage about 14’ x 7’

Actually a ta20, basically the same as the 22 with a wee 1400 engine for the jap market only, it was an ET over there, the bumpers are off, just back from getting new chrome :grinning:

Actually just looked at the pic again, I think that’s something sitting on the bench behind that looks like a bumper!

Class, very jealous. Was obsessed with them for a long time. I'd buy one of those long before I'd ever look at an Escort or something else from that era.

Have to say it’s lovely, I’ve a real soft spot, my parents had one in 1974 (a yellow st with black interior) kept it for two years odd, I remember it well, trips to the beach and drives on a Sunday just for the sake of it.

Couldn’t believe his luck when this popped up last year, bought it the same day the advert was placed, it’s very clean, even cleaner now I’ve got at it! Lol

I looked at importing one from Japan about 5-6 years and they were making good money. Looked just now and nearly cried.

I’ve a good friend in England that restores them, his last one sold for 27.5k about two year back now! I’d say it would be well in access of 30 now!
