Mk5a rear and 5b front on that one? By the way that’s my limit of escort knowledge. I had a 1.3 pushrod for about 15 minutes before rolling it through a hedge in Fermanagh. Amazingly it managed a triple digit speed before I realised I’d just just passed a give-way sign.

Yea it is. I know the car pretty well.
It wasn’t dodgy welding though, they just painted over rust and it was coming through. You can see it on the rear door bubbling up
I’d just properly repair them instead of finding rear doors. But there’s plenty out there.

Not so bad then if a spare is easy got as repairing doors at the seam is tough enough.
Would just be concerned if they didn't do that job right what else have they bodged.
The tyre well looks a bit suspect

I had a few people asking me about it what an AMR clutch was soo might as well detail it all and answer the question within the ad, it does change the way the car drives in a positive way

There’s been a lot of lwb e38s broke. Not so much now though since they’ve got expensive
I’m trying to find those pics I had of it.
It was sold with 80k for 2 grand a long time ago 😂 mad how the prices have went up

Not sure, thought it was all mk5b? Was a 1993 model. Am I remembering right in saying there was a transition period and some had the new front, like a mk5a.5 🤔😂

Mine was probably 2 cars welded together right enough though

I had all that with the E28 search, you go to dig back through a cars history and you see a for sale ad a few years back of it going for nothing and now it's up for 3-4x the money and in worse condition :sob:

After watching M539's youtube I do have a lot of want for a silver 750

Yea same across most old bms! .. apart from e46 compacts haha
I’ve always liked that silver one. Seen it for sale a long time ago but I wanted a black one. It’s nice because it’s standard and a lovely spec. The red piping is very rare
I’m thinking having a moded one plus a standard one is justifiable 😂
