I spoke to the older gent before but I think this may be a different one, younger guy driving it and shiny wheels

My first hot hatch was a mk1 astra gte (EXI 4860) - loved its driving position felt as you were sitting on the road but rusted like hell though

That was a late one, cousin had a white then a red one, one was Exi, can’t remember which though

Nice! Have a proper soft spot for them, had my first proper accident in a 1600 SuperMirafiori Estate, brother hit a tree and barrel rolled down the road before coming to rest on the opposite side of the road with me exiting the car through the passenger rear window, opening it with my head lol. (Explains a lot lol)

Someone thinks a lot of that Escort to be fitting those 17" Autostar Escort Cosworth wheels (Autostar calls them Legend 01). Personally I've grown to really hate the Escort Cosworth wheels on anything but an Escort so this pleases me greatly.

The plate on that MGF would be worth good money too! I've seen IIW 11 and IIL 11 out and about. Naturally both were spaced as II W/L II. Might as well flaunt it if you've got it, right?
