So glad that I changed my fan belt today for tomorrow’s track day! Look at the state of the old one
When I quote my fan belt to Porsche, they said my product code has been superseded by this new one with green label back to 2014...

I’ve never had an FD2. I had an FN2 but sold it about 7 or more years ago.

What a day, throughly enjoyed it, not really pushing it, been the slowest car of the day, but boy, it did not miss a bit after four sessions, then drive it home safely.
steven’s red M3 was very nice and fast, I also got sit in Mark’s Vauxhall touring car for few laps, that mechanic grips, throw me around in the seat like a workout
as usual some really fast cars, the yellow lotus, BMW, the Ariel atom etc. nice GT3 also turned up...

As a car of historic interest, you really should request a period registration for it as you'll end up with one similar to the white car pictured in this thread.

Thanks, I have been looking into this, I think you can get registration with ‘V’ ending as 79 period, or a nice 79 two digital NI plate. But there are so many things I want to invest on first
suspension, alignment, fuel line, ducktail etc...I am making a list atm... it has been a long one so farGraham

A period UK number plate can be assigned without much of a fee, if any, AFAIK.
I know of some rally cars that have had several number plates attached, in many different countries, and dva Swansea have managed to reassign the original 'works plate' from when the car was part of the factory team in the UK.
Worth looking into, along the way.

A shame! Either way, it looked amazing at the show today!I actually wrote a letter to dvla stating a period registration number plate when the paperwork was in for first registration... they apparently ignored thatgave me a NI plate
