It has been a tough period due to the lockdown, but we have done two coastal routes since April, weather has been fantastic and with bunch of lovely people, what else can you ask for?
The sc has been running so sweet, the chassis and suspension are well planted for the winding roads. Really enjoying the ownership so far, hassle free😉View attachment 319205View attachment 319206

Looked like a great day.

Wjo are you using do to your seats? I need my 944 seats done. I was thinking of contacting Arek in Ballymena.

I have not decided yet, I heard good things about autotrim and few others.

I've heard Arek can be hit and miss sometimes. Because of this I sent my bike seat over to Del Barrie @ Optimus Automotive over in Scotland, should have it back next week so will report back then. Heard nothing but good reports and all the "Scene" guy's and show car guys in the UK use him.

I am going to give Ian a try at Crumlin. Let's wait and see, it only a half re-trim not a full job

Well, may be a personal one, but I really love this look now  as well as my daughter "It is much better with blue and red, silver is boring".
The look was based on the very limited 'Petrol Blue' original colour when the car was out of factory, Martini racing strips and Iconic Ducktail.

Andy at WJ Blair really went out of the way to remove all the old paint on the bonnet, modified and prepared the ducktail for paint. I have to say I am very happy with the results. PS, Neil at Rockvale graphics has finished it off nicely with the decals.

Not really changed much, recently took part in a into the west toad trip with Porsche club Ireland, left on Saturday 6 hours drive to meet them at Killarney, did the ring of Kerry, then progress to Armada Spanish point, Galway, then 4 hours back home. A 4 days round trip over 1200 kms. What a way to bond with the car and meet with some amazing souls. Never missed a beat.

It’s been a long time coming, but finally the gearbox is stripped and cleaned, seals, worn bearings and gears have been all replaced.

While we are at it😂

Old fuel lines are out, replaced with new rubbers, alternator refurbishment, 7 and 8” Fuchs, anodised and painted centre together with new Michelin rubbers.

1200 miles, 5days, NC500 has exceeded my expectations. Epic trip, seating time is just so important to get to know this old pig.

The gearbox has been properly bedded in, with the new 7/8J Fuchs and fresh PS4 tyres, this car is beautiful to drive 😎

Beautiful photos, glad you enjoyed.

Wanting to do the NC500 again, but other way round.

Best time to do the NC500 is as you say between Easter and May Day Bank Holiday, or September. Still warm enough after summer.

Middle of summer? Forget it, bunged with tourists gawking at everything except the road.
