its a little worrying - you might find its shat the engine and someone rolled it back into a wall to write it off.

I've got a non resonated stainless on my s6, pretty much same engine and I love the sound of it now, they definately need an exhaust.
See the issue is I would need it in a hurry. I can only afford to buy one after I've sold the Golf, and I currently have no other access to a car so need to buy a replacement straight away. If that wasn't the case I'd have taken you up on your offer. Appreciate it anyway mate.
