A local was engaged as test and development driver for this thing a couple of years ago when it was in its infancy. Not sure he ever got to drive anything remotely representative at that time though. Mental concept, Mental looking thing now though.

Edit: "Buddy" is based on a RAV4, and the Rockstar on an MX5.

I see Rockstars are fetching upwards of 60k at auction now Only 200 or so ever made.

I was going to say the Rocester has to be based on an mx5 looking at it. The Japanese have some strange ideas. I think there used to be a small Daihatsu with a mini nose on it.

It does look like something re-badged, had to Google it

The last few iterations of Justy were based on either Daihatsu or Suzuki. The one above looks like a Daihatsu Boon based one.

Not that I've heard of a Daihatsu Boon either before
