Mrs is looking for a new motor so I was trying to convince her this would make a very sensible and practical 2nd car for the family .

She just looked at me as if my head was cut lol

Lovely motor and R's really are the perfect all-rounder, even more so in estate guise. I do miss my R hatch and only now that I don't have it do I realise I took a lot for granted as it just did everything I needed it to so well. Good luck with the sale!

Yep. After the two year lease I was offered mine at 21k, had 7,700 on the clock.

Plenty about, so you’d have expected the prices to tank. I don’t think the MK8 is impacting prices as much either from an availability and lack of tactile buttons perspective. It’s also a bit of an acquired taste.

Initially the golf has more modern tech and is far easier to drive fast especially in this weather.
The c63 has amazing seats and makes a glorious noise.
Golf with the map etc probably feels faster because of the 4wd and torque surge.
C63 is still rapid and did I mention the glorious noise?
