Impressive array of Jap stuff from what I’ve seen- first time ever it’s appealed to me more than the VAG!

Was probably more excited than I should’ve been when I saw a clip of @Gemma ’s car too.

Took my lad to it and have to say we had a great day. Some cracking cars on display. The outdoor stuff was a bit hit and miss but the indoor was fantastic. Really good mix aswell, not just the usual big budget stuff.

id a complete mare of a setup day for dubshed, at lunch time friday I was about to not bother at all.

usual story of trying to prep and also manage kids and school runs and i forgot that I'd loosened the front indicators to adjust the position of them

did the school run and then washed the car, instantly filling the headlights with water and soap.... the same headlights that i'd spent a lot of previous week getting perfect for dub shed.

the water instantly killed both xenon ballasts (balls) and looked guff


lots of heat gun and silica gel packs have gotten then about 80% back again but lots of soap residue etc in them and still ballasts are done, so tomorrow the front end will have to come off again and headlights full split, wiped down and then resealed.

The ballasts may be recoverable once they fully dry out.

my car is tucked in the corner with Gemma's NI JDM Legends stand.

Some of the standard of the stuff is incredible, hope the weather is kind today

2 hours is plenty to see everything, indoor cars are there until 6pm, worth a go for sure

Traffic is ridiculous. Been sitting in a queue for nearly 30mins and barely moved. Can you get refunds if you don't actually make it to the show? Seriously considering turning around

Queues I seen posted up yesterday were also crazy, so I didn’t even bother going near the place.

Badly organised traffic system by all accounts.

Didn't queue yesterday but I know it can be bad. Last year was very busy when I left. They have a few folk directing traffic but I guess sheer volumes are difficult to manage with a single entrance in.

I left just over an hour ago and the queue’s were massive with no folk giving way at junctions etc…..
