I really miss my W8 estate, should never have got rid of it! Keep telling myself that I will have an RS4 Avant as a replacement some day!

So i should scrap my idea of buying a 330d saloon and go for the 335D touring!!?

plus the ONLY people who claim you don;t need a 335D are 330D owners - 335D touring is literally the first thing I am buying if my numbers come up. I am yet to experience another car as potent at covering ground whilst keeping relatively good mpg along with simply mind blowing levels of grip - oh and they fly beautifully too.

You don't need a 335d, you need a 335i.

Not sure a remap on the "I" will ever see the truly silly figures you can get on the "D"

The only thing that would make me choose an I over a D is price, but within 6 months that price will be made up for in fuel consumption difference
I'd have a D if i did uber miles and wasn't so scared of the reliability after chatting to @Nicky .

Take a spirited drive in 1 and all of your woes will go right out the window, especially if it's had the needful done (mapped with DPF delete).
Meh I'm a petrol man, and am trying to buy something against my better judgement.

That's just it, a normal "test drive" will never really convince you how good they are. A proper drive, you know the sort, where you don't even have the radio on, that's where I simply fell head over heels in love with the 335D

£600!!! You may as well just gave it to me along with the gear on the roof lol. You see, hard to beat an estate with all that extra room.

My old 1990 Falcon in NZ a few years back. Big old 3.9 straight six and top of the range Fairmont Ghia spec with LSD.
A bit like a Mk3 Granada but wider and longer.
(Oh, and it's a wagon of course, not an estate car)

I have carried full 8x4 sheets and security gates I made in the back of the accord - it's not very often I have to find someone with a bigger vehicle to lug a load.

A4 was a squeeze if you got into it with a packet of chewits in your pocket, useless estate car.

I remember seeing pics of this years ago and I've always quite fancied one since. I'm a big estate fan but yet to own any myself lol
