I think that’s it pretty much over for the season. Hopefully get a few more good races but think that championship is just a formality.

93 always has a good front end to the season .... definitely as it stands only he can defeat himself...old Rossi still remains the only rider I feel that tries to take it to Marc.....Marc just seems to be able to find that extra few tenths when it matters.

Just caught up on Germany and Holland. Two brilliant tracks

Holland was amazing. Rossi got very unlucky, he deserved better after that ride.

Germany was good, once Marquez got to the front it all kind of fizzled out though. Another great result for Rossi too.

As above, it's Marquez' championship to lose now. He deserves it though, he's worked for a lot of these results.

Can't wait to see what happens when Lorenzo gets on the same bike. Still think Marquez will have the edge though.

if anyone has it recorded fast forward the first 15 laps, then it sorta turned into a race. Whats the yamaha fallout all about?

It seems to be about lack of acceleration on the Yams and the crew not doing a lot to remedy the situation. Vinales fell out with crew chief Forcada week's ago and has said he will replace him at the end of the season. Forcada a said he knew nothing about it on Spanish media, and press were banned from asking Vinales any questions about the split.
Rossi said he had been asking for more torque for months and after every race, but the crew just run away and hide on him now. lol

Often
Yamaha were dining out on the fact that the M1 was so good for so long that most others are catching up

The main problem with the yamaha is the electronics - they are lagging behind the other teams in being about to put power down. They might be using a different system (marelli) than the other teams or I could have imagined that.
Yamaha HQ have a lot to answer for as the team can only make the best of what they have.
With today's result of Rossi wins every race and Marquez comes second they still can't win the championship

id love to see the bikes minus the rider aids. .. then we'd see who the best rider is rather than the rider least handicapped by his bike.
And that bollocks of nursing the tyres was ****.. . F1 is crap for the same reason

Interesting last three laps at least :joy:

Good result for Cal. Shame Rossi couldn't stay with them, you can see the potential every time and then it all fizzles out when the rest turn it all up. Must be so frustrating.

There was talk about doing European testing next year, didn't realise they are only testing in Japan with some local test rider. And getting a satellite team up and running for next year for more data.

yip the yamaha test rider whilst quick and consistent is close to 2secs of the what the GP riders can do so theyve been fighting each weekend from a slow benchmark setup.

Just watched that the guy is unreal! Can't wait to see the top 3 duke it out

Yamaha project manager issued a public apology to both factory riders at the press conference yesterday. Never seen that happen before and a true admission that they are now at crisis stage with these acceleration woes

yamaha for years were fortunate to have 2 top riders both feeding info to develop the bike... now it all seems to sit with rossi who is still old school and likely isnt willing to take that extra bit of risk like marquez....Vinales is a big disappointment and seems to be very temperamental.
