Motorbike test and 1st bike advice

I didn't watch too many youtube videos (was worried about differences between here and mainland). My instructor made everything smaller and tighter during lessons, so when I actually did it I was thinking "wow, so much space" - which I was very grateful for.

Finally got Mod 1 done and dusted today with no minors. Will be booking on road test tomorrow

Sorry I can't give a definitive answer but I went through the tests a few months ago and I do remember that after passing one of the tests I had to wait a day or 2 before I could get a date for the next. To do with the system updating with your pass result.

Can't remember if it was after passing the theory and booking the off road, or after passing the off road and booking the on road test. Someone will confirm

Know all about it, have mine booked for 28th Nov in Craigavon but have to cancel it because if an audit in work, **** knows when ill actually get it done now. Could be after Xmas

Random note: I passed my test on this exact day in 2005, after falling off in a huge puddle that morning

The guy taking it was real dead on (not that the instructor isn't btw) but it just felt like a ride out wasn't like practising doing all the bits and bobs fairly consistently!

Any 125 will be a good starter bike, make your mistakes on something small and learn how to corner properly.
