For a few years I wanted a mk2 saloon
This popped up in England and was humble money so I jumped on it
it’s a 1986 1.6 cavalier L
It has either 42k or 142k
Either way I don’t mind as inside is really clean with minimal wear on the steeeing wheel, pedals or gear stick

then it getting loaded onto the transport lorry
collected in moneymore an brought home
Into the living place for the next few weeks/months
sporty yellow trims removed
and few pictures in day light
I have the rear bumper and centre light section here
Interior is cool
my overall goal of what it should look like when done
I was debating throwing a c25xe ( 2.5v6 ) then thought why not Saab b204, then said I’ve enough petrol cars why not 1.7td Izuzu?
but as I’m going calibre kit I may aswell fit a 2ltr 8v as per calibre mk2 cavalier
A good friend of mine has a calibre kit for me, waiting for him to dig it out of storage, also have 17” momo arrows waiting to collected.
the car does need a bit of work. Needs full paint but that’s no problem, I know it needs 1 rear arch an repair to the sill at the rear where the arch has gone so I’ve ordered 2 new arch repairs panels and 2 new sills.
other than that. I can’t wait to get started once I get the others sorted/completed
