So at the weekend I cleaned the shed up, a large chunk of it anyway an put all my floor tools back in their boxes an trays

Then I had a wee chat with my gearbox, I asked it nicely to jump onto the engine

Petrol drained from the tank as I need to weld a return fitting, an axle dropped out to fit a mk3 Astra axle so I can run disc brakes or go 5 stud, still undecided

So I needed a special mount to fit the V6
On a cavalier/Astra V6 the mounting holes are in the bottom on the leg
On the mk2 the mount fits on the side of the leg
So I knew a fella was selling a v6 engine from a mk2, a guy a followed on migweb all those years back had one of the first V6 mk2s in England
So when it came over here the guy sold the engine as he's now fitting a c20let
I asked if he still has the mount an he did, id have thought it would have went with the engine
Anyway, mount bought

An I stupidly binned the mounting bracket with aircon as I haven't got aircon an never would have anyway, so I found 1 an it's in its way to me, then 1 more mount to buy and modify to have the engine finally sat in the bay for the foreseeable
