they reissued the numbers the bastids. harbour commission, so out of our hands.

They're a law onto themselves, not worth arguing with them...

fire some pics up with the bike on the roof - never seen a 911 sportin a bike on top of it lol!

Seen this near Sandyknowes tonight, 911's have a great presence on the road, plate suits it really well. Good work.

Wheel looks great, plate makes a nice job of it. Lovely car, as always for your machinery!

That's the aim with this car it was designed in the 90s so trying to replace anything that makes it look dated. Yellow lights etc will be replaced with LEDs to freshen it up.

Its hard though have to stay subtle or you ruin the character. In saying that they are the least attractive 911 in terms of looks lol so any little helps!!

ordered a set of eibach springs for it and might do a GT3 front splitter.

next up is a 997 airbox though. then a wheel and caliper refurb. I might go yellow for the calipers, red seems a little boring and black is even more boring!

have today off so going to spend some time on it, have a few small niggles to sort and finish the tablet installation.

Airbox has a BMC panel filter and resonator delete with silicone pipe. Looks a whole heap better too (will smooth over the 3.8 part).

BTW - they are super sensitive to suspension changes, if you're lowering it yourself make sure to mark the position of the top mounts before starting, and put them back in the same position, it will make the geo setup much easier. And get a Geo done straight away or it'll eat your tyres.

Airbox arrived and was on the car within 10 mins :grinning:

straight swap. had read of people having to modify the box and/or move other components but it literally dropped straight in.

mess of belts :grinning:

and new airbox in. will do something with the 3.8 strip as its not a 3.8 so looks odd. Looks much smarter already though (y)

only whipped back into work so not much chance for some beans - because the exhausts are modded they drown everything (y)

Never realised it was such a mess in there :grinning:

No matter, as long as the engine does what it is supposed to do - make things go faster

Looks a lot like a VW beetle :p How in God's name do you change spark plugs in there?
