Getting there with it, I have the rear subframe area and floor to do next but I’ll not be applying paint there just clear wax. Then I can work on the top, gets any parking dings removed and then some paint correction. It also needs a major service and timing belt

Absolutely lovely RA you have there @Burt2000, how does it compare to your old turbo 2000?

Ive had 4 classics and this is the best condition one yet, the rest were clean but underneath would have been showing signs of age, this one is in a different league and that’s why I’m keeping it for a very long time. It’s a great base to start from to have it properly mint in time. Performance wise it trumps the U.K. cars, slightly lighter, much quicker, and sharper handling. The gear ratios are the big difference it’s very sharp through the gears giving it great acceleration, it wouldn’t be as comfortable or quiet as a uk version but it’s a weekend dry weather car so that doesn’t bother me.

I decided to go back to the standard wheels as it just wasn't doing it for me after not lowering as much as I would have liked, I think it just looks right with the standard wheels and it drives nicer....ill probably sell the revolutions on if anyone's interested.

@Burt2000 he's looking 18s but if I can think of anyone else looking a set I'll point them in your direction.

No worries Paddy, I’m in two minds to sell them anyway as they will probably only get more desirable the older they get

Slow progress with the old scoob, just flat out with the 2 wee ones these days. Got a chance today as was off work and got the front arches sorted. They came just as good as the rears I think.
