I think they look awful, BMW used to be great at making a sportier looking base car and an awesome looking M car. Now it’s all black plastic, stickers and fake carbon.

Who am I to comment though I drive a Volvo.

Sure theyre all at that now. Look at the utter crap VW chuck out now too. Everything os overly fussy designs, stick on crap and mostly hideous wheels.

The M car M Performance stuff at least has a bit of quality to it though.

But then again I quickly lose interest in cars once they have been made after the 90s unless they're something actually special so probably not the best judge

It’s outstanding how quickly models come and go these days.

It's not as bad as I was expecting, and for once I think the concept looked worse than the production car! But I'd probably still prefer it with just a normal grille.

Main thing that doesn't work for me though is the overall length, it's huge, over 12cm longer than current model, looks more like a 6 Series. Too much metal over the rear arch and long overhang.

The interiors on the new BMWs are great, however that front end is unforgivable

To be honest the only thing I don't like about it is the ridiculous front grill, if they had stuck to the conventional BMW grill design it would have been fine.

Ok, I don’t hate that, once a UK plate goes on that it may be ok, I’ll now reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh, maybe. Things I really don’t like is it’s over 5” longer than an already long car and no M bonnet bulge
