Just 11 left, would love to get a spin in one. Quite possibly a future classic

None for sale on ebay, Gumtree, Autotrader or Pistonheads. I imagine a good few of the SORN'd examples are away for that purpose. Found an article for a clean enough one with 88k from 2 years ago for under a grand.

Shame there’s so few, that one you found sounds like it would have been a good buy

So many of my dads cars from growing up are long gone. Scrappage scheme has a lot to answer for in relation to cars that once had been a common sight on the roads. My dad had the usual, peugeot 405 etc, but a rarer sight was a mk1 Mondeo saloon when I was really young, and I have never seen another since he sold it. He sold it for a brand new (at the time) mk3 Mondeo zetec s saloon, which was a rare sight on the road in saloon form. Cant recall the last time I saw one of them.
His mk1 was exact same as below but in navy, his mk3 was light blue.

Yes he had one of them too, burgundy, 305 estate, and when I was very young, had a maroon Citroen LNA. Come to think of it, he had some weird cars too, triumph acclaim being another noteable mention. Some of these probably arent on the road because they had been absolutely awful. To make up for this torture having to travel in that, he had a Triumph TR8 (TR7 converted), BRG, gold wheels and gold bonnet decal.

Lovely example that one, seems clean just needs a little tlc.

Definitely. I've no love for Fiats but now I know how little there are left on the road I want one... I've no space for a second car or to work on one, but I'm sure the mother in law wouldn't mind another car clogging up her property, haha. Buying somewhere bigger next year and promised myself an 80s or 90s hot hatch when I've room. That's a lot of Italian exclusivity for the price of a runabout!

Those used to be pretty common. Always remember there being quite a few of these about in the early 90's

Had a Seicento Schumacher years ago. Second to my MK1 MX5 it was the most fun car I've ever owned. Wish I still had it.

My dad had three of them. The build quality was shocking, he had a blue one with a blue interior and the handles for closing the rear doors were mismatched one side was light blue and the other was dark blue. He had the car from new so it not like a previous owner swapped a damaged out.
