It doesnt really sound like bearings....at least nothing too serious. And whilst 140deg isnt ideal for oil temp, with a good modern oil it really isnt much of a concern either as long as pump etc is in good order and still making good pressure
You've stopped it early enough, so hopefully damage not too bad
140 is high but not like melting metals or incinerating oils high. Probably something else causing the oil temp in the first place, and the temp was just a symptom.
Fingers crossed repairable once you work out what failed.
sorry , im assuming MAD were building it for you , but you just mentioned MAD spec, so building yourself maybe ?
