Absolutely agree! don't think ive laughed as much in a car, every time i drive it I either scare myself or laugh my head off.

You’ve summed up what I love about my impreza. 90’s jap turbo cars, the way they smell, the petrol fumes that would choke you, the sound and drive is so much more exciting than modern cars (as good as they are) 👌

Yea lol it gets very very expensive once you fall into the rabbit hole! still get a tight feeling in the gut when i think of my purchasing trip to powermax for the turbo and manifold.

BTW if you break any wheel studs i think i still have a full set of fronts and rears spare, they are handy enough done. id to do mine after i realised the previous owner had cut them level with the adaptors on the rear :-#

don’t go near power max for parts. I saved about 600 quid on my 6 boost and gtx3076 alone. They are a dear dear hole.
Auto extreme, Wayne will Look after ya if you buy a upgrade package in one go and stocks more or less everything

At the time I was only following orders of Richard, went for a 5858 and a 6 boost and came home with a 6262 ball bearing and the 6 boost, got a great deal on the turbo to be fair as a good chunk of a deposit had been paid for by a lad using his dads credit card before being cut off lol dont think i could afford the turbo again at current prices as they've gone up a fair bit!

Was told the fella ordered it and was going to stick it in a golf lol.
Easy done, I always seem to make the mistake of asking "what else do you have about" lol Will have to dig out the big intake take manifold i got with my injectors, Its about 3/5 times the size of the greddy type on lol think the guy was building a time attack or top speed car and i couldn't let it sit.

Japanese turbo cars - a slippery slope to financial ruin,

@ossy2004 do your self a favour and dont look at any of the skylines run at the likes of cootamundra or anything build by croydon racing developments. I want a stroker

So doing abit of internet searching just to see what I could find lastnight...

found these pics and previous owner on Facebook etc

I messaged him and he was so happy to see the car ha

he owned his own bodyshop and have 2 skylines and 180sx for track it seems, this was his weekend car.

so now I know the car was once owned by an Enthusiast who owned his own bodyshop and I bought it off a mechanic with his own shop who owned it for 3 years, been in capable hands prior to me thankfully.

the style was a tad different back in 2013/14 times 😂

Everyone I talked to says they like it... I personally think it’s nasty and makes the car look very dated.

guy who owned it then said it was a great car never let him down, Gona get in touch later possibly with more info & photos.

got the Jap hpi check back, disappointing with no photos etc, supposely don’t keep photos on file if exported before 2010.

it was imported 2008, previous Jap history mileage and uk history match which is good to know at least.

Wife busy doing teaching work again all weekend... The youngest was sleeping so me and this little avenger went to “the shop” /deliver my dads 60th birthday card, he loved the Skyline 😂

even likes the little sideways action on the private road 😝

Took off that silly sun strip on windscreen yesterday and a quick wash.

Think it makes it a lot cleaner looking having it removed.

Gona have a play around and try get this bonnet to sit flush, annoys my happiness.

eBay bought back in July 2019. I used to use Autobrite but got very expensive

Also used Ross full range mainly also but ordered this as only needed this and was free delivery etc. Seems great to use and could have it thicker lol

Looks real clean with sunstrip removed. Is bonnet easily adjusted??
Also what snowfoam is that :0?
Thanks Mark.

there doesn’t seem to be spacers or washers to raise it up as some people do.... need to have a closer look unless it’s the after market wings need slight adjusted up if it doesn’t mess if the other lines of the car. It can be done as other sit flush some how, will just need to play around with it with the help of my cousins body shop for assistance if need be.

if I need to modify the current hidges even... there’s always a way 🙂

Guy coming out to look at garage door today for slight entrance extension.

Another guy wasn’t showing up and was building up the courage to do it myself but wana see what price this guy comes back with first.

Nothing wrong with a few GTR parts!

I had a GTR bumper on my 33 and loved it lol it was actually a selling point! .. Saying that, it was a spec1. Spec2 is far nicer IMO .. Truth be told though, I actually quite like the GTST spoiler and I wasn't for changing it either.

I joke, course there’s nothing wrong with putting gtr parts on gtst... I just prefer the original styling of the spec 2 as is. 🙂

I agree tbh. If I had an original spec 2 I wouldn't touch it, body wise, either.
