Great news
Usual anachem magic. Neighbours judging me for washing the car in the rain again lol. Hopefully I can keep it clean a bit longer this time.

Looks so much better with real mirrors and being the normal shape rather than the sportback.

Another mate asked to have his Golf R cleaned up, maachine polished and ceramic coated. Have to tackle the CRV tomorrow after the wife and kids went for a swim in a field, with the dogs, and just handed me the keys and said 'Can you clean it for me 🙏🏼'.

What do you think of the Honda.
Looking for a new daily runaround.
Looking to replace my ageing RAV4 and I'm considering a newer version or maybe the CRV.

Do you care about MPG? If not, then they are great. Had ours 4 years and all its cost me is 2 oil and filter changes, 2 full sets of tyres and a set of pads. Mine is the 2012 EX model with the 2.2 iDtec motor and it's really smooth to drive. I do need to change the drive shafts (common issue in these) but I only remember this when I drive it (about every other month, wife drives this most of the time).

You're welcome to come and have a look and drive of mine.

I didn't know about the driveshaft issue.
What's the average mileage they usually go at.
With regards to mpg my current RAV4 is currently averaging around the 40 mark so along as the Honda was near enough it wouldn't be too bad.

We get mid/low 30's mpg. The drive shaft thing can happen at any time. Mine went at about 85k and the car just clocked 90k. You just get a vibration at about 55mph then it goes away at about 70mph.

As long as you regularly service it and if you do buy one, change the diff oil. Other than that, they're perfect for us. 2 adults, 2 kids and a labrador.
