Maybe 5 years? Nice find! That’s a really neat car. Are the wheels you found honeycomb bbs wheels? Either way, you can never go wrong with those! That’d be a cool car to get back on the road.

crank shaft pully now in position all i have to do is make a wee bracket that will hold the sensor

next up was the inlet manifold

because we are technically up grading the engine management we need to remove the standard cable throttle body and replace it with a fly by wire one from a vxr astra

few templates later

and then cut it all out

few drills and taps later we end up with this

it’s amazing how many vacuum lines where on the piazza inlet and how little the vauxhall ecu needs

more soon hopefully

today we rewired the engine to think it’s a vauxhall

as you can see if this works we might have to go down the route off individual coil packs



and i might need a bit less easy start

a friend off ours has recently moved a car that was stored behind it and we have bought that many bits for it we where storing them in the boot and back seat

when he moved his car we noticed it started to look a bit low at the back and thought it was the weight

nope the extra weight has broken the rear springs

really looking forward to getting stuck in to this now
